Kadian Townsend, Esq.
Managing Attorney
Kadian is the Managing Attorney and was recently named one of the Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch (2026) and Washington Bar Association’s Power 100 Young Lawyers. Her practice centers on Business Law, Sports and Entertainment Law, and litigation. She advises on corporate formation, structuring, partnership agreements, commercial negotiations, media deals, and various business transactions for varied clients including individuals, companies, entrepreneurs, Grammy-nominated artists and musicians, and business owners. Kadian serves as Vice Chair of the Sports & Entertainment Committee at the Nassau County Bar Association. She is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, where she served in the Tax Clinic representing low-income individuals facing IRS and District of Columbia tax controversies. She also served in the Civil Rights/Legislation Clinic where she advised non-profit organizations on employment discrimination issues and assisted in drafting proposed revisions to D.C. Human Rights Act.
Gaëlle Bastien, Esq.
Of Counsel
Gaëlle Bastien serves as Of-Counsel, providing the firm with legal expertise gained from her experience in both private law and government agencies. Her practice focuses primarily on transactional matters, real estate, and corporate/business law. Gaëlle is a graduate of UDC School of Law and is committed to providing thoughtful, practical counsel tailored to her clients’ needs. Prior to joining the firm, she served at the Office of the Pardon Attorney, where she worked in the Clemency Division and assisted in drafting a favorable recommendation for Ricky Donnell Tyler, who was granted a presidential pardon by President Biden in 2024. She also served at the District of Columbia Housing Authority where she handled administrative hearings and transactional matters, further strengthening her experience in public service and housing-related legal issues. Gaëlle speaks Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish. Gaëlle is a member of the Washington Bar Association and serves as Chair for the Early Career Lawyers Community Committee.
Miracle Onuoha
Law Clerk
Miracle Onuoha is a graduate of Cleveland State University College of Law. As a former Legal Assistant with the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team and a Legal Intellectual Property Intern for American Greetings, Miracle brings wide range of experience and support to the Firm’s Sports and Entertainment practice, particularly in the areas of commercial and contractual partnerships. Miracle also previously served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge J. Philip Calabrese in the United States District Court of Northern Ohio where she assisted with both civil and criminal dockets. Her experience in criminal law grew while serving as a Legal Clerk at LegalWorks, where she helped clients secure legal representation and aid in sealing and expunging records. Miracle thrives at the intersection of law, policy, and community impact, helping organizations navigate complex challenges while making a meaningful difference. She is a member of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
